Cheryl Strickland, President/Owner

Cheryl has over 35 years of experience in the rehabilitation industry. Most of her career has been in Operations and Marketing in the Long-Term Care arena but her many years working in the Mental Health field in both clinical and management positions have all contributed to her passion for starting Choice Rehabilitation!

 Cheryl holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Washington University and a M.S. in Management from National Louis University. Over the past 25 years she has worked for three national therapy providers in which she feels she gained vast knowledge of the industry from an operations and clinical perspective. Past experience included management oversight for multi state operations including, sales and marketing, clinical oversight, budget and financial analysis responsibility as well as customer service.

Her passion for the Occupational Therapy (OT) field has inspired active membership in both national and state OT organizations. She has been an active advisory board member for several OT programs.

Cheryl’s family life includes a wonderful husband, six children, five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She loves spending time with family and friends through travel and entertaining.
